About Sandhya.
Sandhya is an educator and entrepreneur with two decades of experience. She is the Co-Founder and COO of EdDeeD, India’s most immersive search and discovery platform for K-12 education. She co-founded EdDeeD to support parents in making these tough choices by using parameterized searches, that were researched by her for over a decade. Her FB group, Bangalore Schools is the largest online parenting community with over 77000+ members. To enable collaboration and interactions between parents, educators, and schools, she has been instrumental in organising outreach events including the EdDeeD Education Expos since last 3 years.
A strong believer that education is an individualistic decision, she helps parents through her personal consultations to make these decisions. Her consultations are deep rooted in her knowledge of choosing the right board and choosing the right schools. She is an expert on the intricacies of every national and international board operational in India. Her unique background of being an engineer and psychologist has helped her being an educator with a purpose. She runs multiple groups in Facebook focused on schooling and parenting, and through these groups, she has been able to help hundreds of parents make right educational choices for their children.
Sandhya is a homeschooling parent to two sons and is the go-to expert for homeschooling and unschooling. She is a Montessori trained early childhood specialist who ran an experiential preschool called MudPie. She had been awarded multiple times as an educator and for her contributions to education. She recently won the runner-up award for the Dell Women Entrepreneur Network- DreamTech contest. Sandhya has been an expert panellist in numerous panel discussions on schooling, parenting and education.
